Ice Safety

One of our flagship programs is our “Ice Safety for Schools®” program. Developed in 2002, this program is designed to educate children from grades K-12 of the dangers of being on ice. Since its inception our volunteers have presented this interactive program to over 13,000 children. In 2005 this program received international acclaim, being awarded the “Friends of Fins Award” for “Creative Water Safety Education for Kids” from the International Association of Dive Rescue Specialists.

The “Ice Safety for Schools®” program is an under active development. We are currently fundraising to finish the filming phase of the accompanying video and for associated child safety programs.
