In October, NPSS had the opportunity to provide CISM education through the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF) at their regional conference in Regina, SK. Both foundational and advanced intervention skills were presented over a 5-day period to an audience consisting of attendees from various backgrounds representing the countries of Canada, the United States, the Philippines, and Africa. This was a highly motivated group who, for some, put their new skills to work the day they returned home.
